Ever Carradine <\/b>returned to the red carpet for the first time after her father, late actor Robert Carradine<\/b><\/a>, died at 71.<\/p>\n

Ever, 51, stepped out at the Tuesday, March 31, premiere of Hulu\u2019s The Testaments <\/i>at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles in a black strapless minidress.<\/p>\n

Ever was accompanied by her husband, Coby Brown<\/b>, before they reunited with Ever\u2019s The Handmaid\u2019s Tale<\/i> costar O-T Fagbenle <\/b>on the purple carpet. (The Testaments<\/a> <\/i>is a spinoff of the Margaret Atwood<\/b> adaptation, following the next generation of Gilead women.)<\/p>\n

The Testaments <\/i>premiere took place one month after Ever\u2019s dad, Lizzie McGuire <\/i>patriarch Robert, died by suicide.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tRobert Carradine\u2019s eldest daughter, Ever Carradine, is getting candid about her grief after his heart-wrenching death at 71. \u201cAfter one of the hardest weeks of my life, I went to see my friend @joannavargasnyc,\u201d Ever, 51, wrote via Instagram on Friday, February 27, referring to the renowned facialist. \u201cShe does what she always does, took [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cIt is with profound sadness that we must share that our beloved father, grandfather, uncle and brother Robert Carradine has passed away,\u201d a representative for the Carradine family said in a February statement<\/span><\/a>. \u201cIn a world that can feel so dark, Bobby was always a beacon [of] light to everyone around him.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement continued, \u201cWe are bereft at the loss of this beautiful soul and want to acknowledge Bobby\u2019s valiant struggle against his nearly two-decade battle with bipolar disorder. We hope his journey can shine a light and encourage addressing the stigma that attaches to mental illness. At this time, we ask for the privacy to grieve this unfathomable loss.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to Ever, Robert is survived by his brothers, two younger children and multiple grandchildren. (Robert shared Ever with Susan Snyder<\/b>, as well as Marika and Ian with Edie Mani<\/b>.)<\/p>\n

Ever broke her silence on Robert\u2019s death via Instagram on February 24.<\/p>\n
