Liam Gallagher has cast fresh doubt on the idea of Oasis ever recording new material, admitting he believes the band would \u201csplit up again\u201d if they tried to make another album.<\/p>\n

After the Britpop legends reunited for their first tour in 16 years, dubbed Oasis Live ’25<\/em>, in 2025, speculation has been rife about whether new music could be on the horizon.<\/p>\n

A fan on X shared their thoughts on the band\u2019s future this week, writing: \u201cImo a new album would be more than welcome if it was the case, but I also reckon Oasis have so many ‘old’ tunes that deserve to be played. They could basically tour forever without releasing anything new and still blow people\u2019s minds every time with a different setlist. (sic)\u201d<\/p>\n

Prompting Liam to respond with a typically blunt take, arguing that the pressure and expectations would be impossible to manage. <\/p>\n

He replied: \u201cYes but people would moan if it wasn\u2019t up there with the classics and all the music magazines would give it 4 out of 5 then we\u2019d all cry and the pressure would be too much then we\u2019d split up again so F*** IT. (sic)\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Liam recently quipped that Yungblud has been learning the triangle for their James Bond theme.<\/p>\n

The frontman responded to a fan who quizzed him on how his 007 song is coming along, even though it doesn’t look like it’s happening.<\/p>\n

They asked him on X: “Awright, how\u2019s the bond tune coming along? (sic)”<\/p>\n

Liam jokingly replied: \u201cIt\u2019s finished just waiting for yungblud to finish his triangle solo.”<\/p>\n

Another user asked: “ok whatever but whys noel been in the studio and when are u joining him WHATS HAPPENING LIAM (sic)”<\/p>\n

Liam then quipped: \u201cbeen teaching yungblud the parts for the triangle solo bits. (sic)”<\/p>\n

Yungblud recently threw his hat into the ring for the next Bond theme \u2014 stating he wants Oasis involved if the Gallagher brothers ever reunite for the job.<\/p>\n

Recent reports suggested that Oasis were among the acts being considered to soundtrack the next 007 film following Amazon MGM Studios\u2019 takeover of the franchise. But when guitarist Noel Gallagher was asked about the whispers during an appearance on talkSPORT, he didn\u2019t exactly fuel the hype.<\/p>\n

Laughing off the idea, Noel said he hadn\u2019t heard anything official. He joked: \u201cThis James Bond thing? What, Oasis? Nah.”<\/p>\n

But when pressed on whether he\u2019d take the gig if it actually came his way, he admitted he wouldn\u2019t turn it down.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cFor Oasis to do it? Absolutely. Of course. It would be an honour \u2014 and those things should be done by Brits, not Americans.\u201d<\/p>\n

Noel added that no one from the studio had reached out before quipping that he\u2019d happily play a Mancunian villain instead.<\/p>\n

Yungblud told Kerrang! that he\u2019d jump at the chance to team up with Liam and Noel for a Bond anthem.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cI would f****** love to.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor any British artist, a Bond song is the goal \u2014 it\u2019s up there with headlining Glastonbury. I\u2019d be down for a collaboration if Liam and Noel would f****** have me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Noel has previously admitted he\u2019s experimented with writing music that could fit the Bond universe, telling NME he once revisited an old track and realised it \u201cwould make a great Bond theme.\u201d<\/p>\n
