Amelia Mignonette Thermopolis Renaldi, is that you? Kendall Jenner<\/a> took a perfect style cue from the Princess of Genovia this week, bringing back the character\u2019s iconic purple-and-green beach look, but reimagining it in her own minimalist way.<\/p>\n

In The Princess Diaries<\/em>, Mia\u2014played, of course, by a teenage Anne Hathaway<\/a>\u2014attends a beach party with her high school piers only to be humiliated by a group of mean \u201ccool\u201d girls and a floppy-haired jock. She leaves the beach in tears, but looking kind of fabulous in a purple long-sleeve top and a lime-green wrap skirt with a sky-blue flower print. All very Y2K.<\/p>\n

Whether or not she meant to, Jenner<\/a> channeled Mia\u2019s very look this past weekend, when she paired a slinky lavender top with a silky lime skirt to attend childhood friend Hannah Logan\u2019s beach wedding in Mexico\u2019s Cabo San Lucas.<\/p>\n

Jenner\u2019s top was sleeveless and fitted, unlike Mia\u2019s baggy number, and her maxi skirt was a more elevated version of a beach skirt\u2014but you get the idea. The unexpected purple-and-green color combination undeniably still works.<\/p>\n

Jenner accessorized her wedding-guest look with a raffia clutch and little silver huggies. For glam, she slicked her hair back into a ponytail and wore a bold raspberry lip.<\/p>\n
