<\/story-highlights> While ground has already officially been broken on the arts and entertainment district known as The Gallery in Madison<\/a>, actual development<\/a> construction is expected to get started in the near future.<\/p>\n Bellamare Development Services Vice President Anna Jane Stanley told the Clarion Ledger that she didn’t want to overpromise, but she expects the project to go vertical by early summer.<\/p>\n The project passed its latest test before a board in Madison<\/a> in October of 2025, when the City of Madison Board of Aldermen gave The Gallery a vote of approval for site plan and architectural design for all six buildings of the development. The Gallery is a privately funded, mixed-use destination that will include entertainment, dining, retail and office space in a designed community.<\/p>\n Work has begun on the\u00a0Madison development project<\/a>, located off Galleria Parkway on 17 acres visible from I-55 North.<\/p>\n A local development group in April of 2025, announced intentions to build the $60 million arts and entertainment district for\u00a0Madison<\/a>.<\/p>\n “We are incredibly grateful for the City of Madison\u2019s continued support and shared vision in bringing this project to life,” Stanley said. “Their commitment to creating a meaningful, long-term community asset has been instrumental in shaping what The Gallery will become.”<\/p>\n An iconic Jackson restaurant is adding a second location<\/a>, and it will be at the Gallery.<\/p>\n Pig & Pint<\/a>, which opened in the Fondren District of Jackson in 2014 and has become one of the signature barbecue restaurants in all of Mississippi, has already announced it will become a part of the\u00a0Gallery<\/a>.<\/p>\n At the heart of the project is Spinners, a 120,000-square-foot indoor\/outdoor family entertainment center featuring bowling, skating and other games. While there is another Spinners location in Florence, Phillips told the Clarion Ledger the new location is much different and larger in scale.<\/p>\n While there haven’t been any more official announcements, Stanley did tell the Clarion Ledger there will be a health and wellness component among the more than 30 retail, restaurant and office components within the development.<\/p>\n “All along, our focus has been this intentional curation of tenants for this project,” said Stanley, a Brandon native. “Not, only does it complement each other in the French Quarter inspired design, each business location makes sense. We want to create something that’s different than anything in the Mississippi market. We want to make sure each concept contributes to a cohesive, experience-driven environment.”<\/p>\n Part of that is what Stanley calls a signature wellness component.<\/p>\n “It will be a first-of-its-kind concept to Mississippi,” she said, while not ready to completely unveil the business. “The space is being designed to blend cutting edge wellness technology with a full-service immersive health experience. This is going to create an environment that encourages people to slow down, recharge and prioritize overall well-being. What we are doing is creating a full in-house wellness facility.”<\/p>\n She said that membership opportunities will be available on Bellamare’s website after an official announcement in a few weeks.<\/p>\n Beyond that, The Gallery is expected to have live events for the public. Programming, according to Stanley will include live music, and community-driven activities for visitors and local families.<\/p>\n While Stanley is the VP of Development, she said Paige Prechter is the lead on the project as Principal of Development.<\/p>\n “Paige will be spearheading The Gallery,” Stanley said. “Paige brings an exceptional level of experience and leadership to the project.”<\/p>\n\n
