Lili Reinhart has recalled a harsh acting note she received from a male director while filming, and it left her cast mates enraged.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reinhart is best known for starring in the likes of Riverdale, Hustlers,<\/em> and Hal & Harper. <\/em>The actress also stars in the new horror movie<\/a> Forbidden Fruits<\/em>, which hit theaters on March 27. <\/p>\n

As promo for the movie \u2013 which currently boasts a 75 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes<\/a> \u2013 the cast sat down with Cosmopolitan<\/a> to ask each other questions.<\/p>\n

Reinhart features in the film alongside You<\/em><\/a> and The Haunting<\/em> favorite Victoria Pedretti, The<\/em> Summer I Turned Pretty’s<\/em> Lola Tung, and Anyone But You<\/em> actress Alexandra Shipp.<\/p>\n

One question Reinhart was asked is if there was ever an acting note she got that she took personally.<\/p>\n

The 29-year-old went on to recall: “When I had a male director come up to me and silently lean over and go, ‘Just suck in your stomach a little bit.'”<\/p>\n

Her cast mates were clearly disgusted and demanded that Reinhart name and shamed him \u2014 which she didn’t. “What is his address?” Predretti went on to ask.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Tung said it was ‘time for a hex’.<\/p>\n

The clip of the interview was shared to Cosmopolitan’s TikTok<\/a> page and it’s safe to say it generated quite a response. One trending theme was Predretti’s reaction… <\/p>\n

“That wasn\u2019t Victoria, that was Love Quinn,” one person said, referencing her serial killer You<\/em> character.<\/p>\n

“Victoria turning into Love for a second lol,” said another, as a third wrote: “Love Quinn popped out real quick.”<\/p>\n

Elsewhere people shared pictures of a recent viral<\/a> photo of Reinhart who was wearing a slogan top that read ‘I support a man’s right to shut the f**k up’ (immediately pops into online shopping basket).<\/p>\n

In contrast, others said that they’d appreciate the heads up had they been in Reinhart’s position.<\/p>\n

One person commented: “Um if my stomach was sticking out, I\u2019d want someone to let me know tho [sic].”<\/p>\n

“Nothing wrong with that,” somebody else wrote. “Filmmaking is a directors medium and he has a vision of how his film should look like.”<\/p>\n

“Tbh i am a actress and I would be happy if a director told me this,” insisted another.<\/p>\n

Can’t say I’d have been particularly appreciative of such remarks… <\/p>\n

Reinhart isn’t alone in her experiences; Kate Winslet was told to hide her ‘belly rolls’<\/a> on the set of Lee<\/em>. In the movie, she portrayed the late photographer Elizabeth Lee Miller.<\/p>\n

In an interview with the BBC, Winslet said that women should celebrate ‘being a real shape, being soft and maybe having a few extra rolls’.<\/p>\n

She went on to recall: “There\u2019s a bit where Lee\u2019s sitting on a bench in a bikini… And one of the crew came up between takes and said: ‘You might want to sit up straighter.’ ‘So you can\u2019t see my belly rolls? Not on your life!’ It was deliberate, you know?”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
