For the 2026 season, all levels of Theatre Aspen Locals Season Passes<\/a> go on sale in person from 10 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. April 7 at Clark\u2019s Market, 300 Puppy Smith Rd. Remaining passes will be sold online starting at 10 a.m. April 8. Last year, these passes sold out in less than 36 hours. Single tickets for individual shows will go on sale in May. The 35th annual Aspen Shortsfest will screen multiple films from April 7 to 10 at the Wheeler Opera House, 320 E. Hyman Ave. This special Oscar-qualifying short film festival shares curated programs during the afternoons and evenings each day. Audiences can expect indie premieres, filmmaker Q&A\u2019s and a film-savvy crowd. The lineup from around the world will include talent like Henry Winkler, Amy Schumer, Aiden Gillen, Mamie Gumer and Justin H. Min. The festival will also highlight directorial debuts from Stephen Curry and Renee Zellweger. The competition jury includes writer\/director Alex Heller and Emmy-winning producer Yvonne Ashley Kouadjo. The Colorado spotlight includes director Freddie Gluck and a world premiere by director Carlos Cagin. Ghost-Note Show will perform at 7 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. April 9 at the Paul JAS Center, located at 422 E. Cooper Ave. Each ticket for the late show includes a specialty cocktail for as the Paul JAS Center season send off. Led by drummer Robert \u201cSput\u201d Searight, the funk collective features musicians who have worked with talent like Prince, Kendrick Lamar and Herbie Hancock. Ghost-Note is touring behind its April 2024 Mac Avenue Records release, \u201cMustard n\u2019 Onions.\u201d Their live shows are known for airtight grooves, big horns and percussion, as well as show-stopping solos. Originally from South Africa, the band mixes electronic beats with keyboard, double bass and saxophone. The venue is located at 450 S. Theatre Aspen and Producing Director Jed Bernstein are still accepting submissions for one-person shows for the 2026 Solo Flights Festival through April 10.
