Kelly Ripa<\/a> admitted to taking \u201cdesperate measures\u201d to maintain beauty standards by undergoing a cosmetic procedure on her butt.<\/p>\n The Live with Kelly and Mark<\/em><\/a> host made the surprising confession on her podcast, Let\u2019s Talk Off Camera<\/em><\/a>, where she spoke with Love, Victor<\/em><\/a> actor Lukas Gage<\/a>. During the discussion, Gage admitted he\u2019d gotten the minimally invasive procedure, microneedling.<\/p>\n That\u2019s when Ripa said, per PageSix,<\/a> \u201cOh, wait, you got microneedling? I did that on my ass cheeks.\u201d<\/p>\n According to the Cleveland Clinic<\/a>, microneedling is when \u201cYour healthcare provider uses thin needles to make tiny holes in the top layer of your skin. The damage helps stimulate your skin\u2019s healing process, so it produces more collagen and elastin. Last February, she admitted to getting Botox, though she said she tries not to go overboard.<\/p>\n \u201cI used to get Botox just in my armpits to stop from sweating,\u201d she shared, per InStyle<\/a>. \u201cOne day I said, \u2018Do you think I should put Botox in my face?\u2019 And [her doctor] looked at me and he goes, \u2018I thought this day would never come.\u2019 And I was like \u2018Oh my God, I needed Botox.’\u201d<\/p>\n Ripa said there\u2019s a \u201csweet spot\u201d and is careful not to overdo it. \u201cI\u2019m a minimalist,\u201d she explained. \u201cI do the crow\u2019s feet and I do the neck and that\u2019s it. I do it now three times a year.\u201d<\/p>\n There is one procedure, however, that Ripa has gone back and forth on over the years, and that\u2019s breast augmentation. \u201cWe know that I\u2019m flat-chested. It\u2019s not a mystery at this point. It\u2019s almost a point of pride,\u201d she stated on a 2025 episode of her podcast, per People<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cLike, every time I hear about the new boob guy, I go, and I have a consult,\u201d she continued. \u201cAnd I\u2019m like, \u2018What? What will you do?\u2019 And they always, like, say all the right things and do all the right things. And, you know, because our cell phones listen to us\u2026 It pops up. And I scroll through, like, so many horror stories of boob jobs. It, like, talks me right out of it.\u201d<\/p>\n
