Alice Cooper\u00a0<\/strong>has introduced British guitarist\u00a0Anna Cara<\/strong>\u00a0in place of his longtime guitarist\u00a0Nita Strauss<\/strong>, who announced earlier this year that she was taking a break to welcome her first child this summer.<\/p>\n 22-year-old Anna, from Newcastle, England, has previously worked with Marc Storace (from the Swiss band Krokus) and Tommy Henriksen (guitarist with both Alice and the Hollywood Vampires). She has built an Instagram following with her videos.<\/p>\n Anna will make her debut April 2-4 with Alice at his special \u201cWelcome To Our Nightmare\u201d\u00a0shows in Las Vegas. These unique shows are a collaboration with illusionist Criss Angel and take place in his theatre at Planet Hollywood.<\/p>\n Alice has his U.S. \u201cAlice\u2019s Attic\u201d\u00a0tour April 14 through May 9, and then returns to Las Vegas May 22-24 for three more \u201cWelcome To Our Nightmare\u201d\u00a0shows with Criss Angel.<\/p>\n Keeping his usual busy schedule, Alice then has a European \u201cAlice\u2019s Attic\u201d\u00a0tour June 13-July 12, and promises more shows in the fall.<\/p>\n Said Alice, \u201cNita found a brilliant British female guitarist to fill in for her while she is on maternity leave.\u00a0Anna Cara is a beautiful dynamic shredder in the vein of Nita but with a style of her own.
