Mango for NY Post<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The allegations that remain as Lively and Baldoni prepare to face off in court on May 18 are for breach of contract, retaliation, and aiding and abetting in retaliation.<\/p>\n<p>Lively\u2019s attorney addressed the latest update, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/04\/02\/celebrity-news\/blake-lively-looking-forward-to-justin-baldoni-trial\/\">telling Page Six in a statement<\/a>\u00a0that the sexual harassment allegation was dismissed \u201cnot because the defendants did nothing wrong but because the court determined Blake Lively was an independent contractor, not an employee.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis case has always been and will remain focused on the devastating retaliation and the extraordinary steps the defendants took to destroy Blake Lively\u2019s reputation because she stood up for safety on the set and that is the case that is going to trial,\u201d the statement read. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The \u201cGossip Girl\u201d alum\u2019s allegations regarding sexual harassment, defamation and conspiracy were tossed out. <span class=\"credit\">Christopher Peterson \/ SplashNews.com<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>What\u2019s left of the claims are breach of contract, retaliation, and aiding and abetting in retaliation.
