Kunal Nayyar<\/a>\u2018s recent interview with The i Paper <\/a>is currently going viral<\/a> on X thanks to \u201cThe Big Bang Theory<\/a>\u201d actor\u2019s revelation that he frequently goes on GoFundMe to anonymously donate to campaigns that provide money towards medical bills for families. Fortune magazine reported earlier this year <\/a>that Nayyar\u2019s reported net worth is $45 million.<\/p>\n \u201cMoney has given me greater freedom and the greatest gift is the ability to give back, to change people\u2019s lives,\u201d Nayyar said in December. \u201cWe also support animal charities because we love dogs. But what I really love to do is go on GoFundMe at night and just pay random families\u2019 medical bills. That\u2019s my masked vigilante thing! So, no, money doesn\u2019t feel like a burden. The cast was earning a reported $1 million per episode at the height of the show\u2019s success. Forbes even ranked<\/a> Nayyar as the world\u2019s third-highest-paid TV actor in both 2015 and 2018 with annual earnings of $20m and $23.5m, respectively. The actor told The i Paper <\/a>that wealth does not \u201cweigh heavy\u201d on him and he\u2019s happy to donate to charitable causes.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Big Bang Theory\u201d actor\u2019s interview gained traction on social media amid the news of James Van Der Beek\u2019s friends launching a GoFundMe campaign<\/a> after the late actor\u2019s death in order to raise money for his wife and six children, who were left \u201cout of funds\u201d after his cancer battle.
