Kendra Duggar<\/b><\/a><\/span> <\/b>has been leaning on her mother-in-law, Michelle Duggar<\/b><\/span><\/a>, while navigating the aftermath of her husband Joseph Duggar<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u2019s arrest.<\/p>\n

\u201cYour mom and I, we got to visit this morning, and she was encouraging me with how to live humbly,\u201d Kendra, 27, told Joseph, 31, during a recent call while he was incarcerated at the Washington County Detention Center, according to People<\/i><\/span><\/a>. \u201c[Michelle said] that God, he\u2019s gracious to the humble, so I thought I wanted to encourage you with that.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cI know you\u2019ve been trying to be, I feel like you were trying to walk humbly.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Kendra, Michelle, 59, has been \u201cso sweet.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tIn a prison phone call, Joseph Duggar\u2018s wife, Kendra Duggar, revealed what his family thinks of his recent arrest. \u201cJust know that everybody loves you, even if they\u2019re disappointed,\u201d Kendra, 27, said in a conversation from Thursday, March 26, later released by TMZ. Joseph, 31, acknowledged that he understood the \u201cdisappointment,\u201d but he \u201cabsolutely\u201d feels [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Joseph, 31, is one of Michelle\u2019s 19 children with husband Jim Bob Duggar. <\/b>Joseph was arrested on March 18<\/span><\/a> in Arkansas on charges of lewd and lascivious behavior after allegedly molesting a 9-year-old girl in Florida in 2020. The victim, now 14, told police that Joseph \u201ceventually apologized for his actions\u201d at the time before \u201cthe incidents stopped.\u201d<\/p>\n

Two days later, news broke that Joseph is also facing four counts<\/span><\/a> of endangering the welfare of a minor, second-degree, and four counts of second-degree false imprisonment. Kendra was arrested on the same charges and released on bond within hours.<\/p>\n

A source told Us Weekly <\/i>that Kendra\u2019s arrest was unrelated<\/span><\/a> to Joseph\u2019s incarceration.<\/p>\n

\u201cKendra\u2019s arrest has nothing to do with Joseph\u2019s \u2014 although one precipitated another,\u201d the insider with knowledge of the case told Us <\/i>last month. \u201cAfter his charge, they automatically do a home study if minors live there. They came to her house. Apparently, they had two rooms where the lock of the doorknob was on the outside instead of inside. They arrested her and took her kids for that, saying it\u2019s evidence that she wrongly detains her kids.\u201d<\/p>\n

Joseph was extradited to Florida, where he pleaded not guilty and was released from police custody after posting $600,000 bail<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n
