Video of Backstreet Boy<\/a> Brian Littrell caught in a heated back-and-forth with a beachgoer near his property is going viral amid the singer\u2019s yearslong battle with locals over who is allowed to have access to the shoreline.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The video came to light after Littrell submitted the footage to police as evidence against a man identified as Kyle Gallagher in police records obtained by celebrity.land.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n While the \u201990s heartthrob sought to have Gallagher charged with battery for the March 22 altercation, prosecutors in Walton County, Florida, declined to press charges, determining that Gallagher had displayed no criminal intent during the confrontation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n In the unedited recording reviewed by celebrity.land, Littrell approaches Gallagher, who is sitting on the shoreline, and appears to shove his phone in the beachgoer\u2019s face. Gallagher seems startled and reacts by throwing his arms out before apologizing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cWhat the fuck, dude?\u201d Littrell asks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cYou cannot be putting that shit in my face, bro,\u201d Gallagher replies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cDon\u2019t test me,\u201d Littrell fires back.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n As the two continue to argue, Gallagher pulls out his own phone and begins to ridicule Littrell, saying, \u201cLook at this gay shit. Look at this shit, bro.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Walton Country Sheriff’s Department<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n Gallagher tells Littrell he\u2019s lived in the same area for 20 years and alludes to an ongoing legal battle with another local over public access to the shoreline of Littrell\u2019s property.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n At that point in the exchange, Littrell turns the camera around to show his face and says, \u201cThis is what I deal with, people like this.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Things continue to escalate as Gallagher tells Littrell, \u201cYou\u2019re lucky I didn\u2019t knock you the fuck out … you\u2019re fucked, bro, you bought a house next to [public] property.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n As the pair continue to squabble and curse about who instigated things, uncensored video obtained by celebrity.land shows Littrell asking Gallagher, \u201cYou want to be gay? You wanna be a pussy?\u201d Several other outlets erroneously reported<\/a> he hurled the homophobic slur \u201cfaggot\u201d at Gallagher.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Gallagher responds to Littrell\u2019s insults with laughter and moments later taunts him by saying, \u201cYou\u2019re a fucking Backstreet Boy.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The dispute continues to drag on as they bicker over whether Gallagher was trespassing on Littrell\u2019s property or allowed access based on a local statute that permits public access to privately owned beaches \u201cup to 20 feet landward from the wet\/dry sand line.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cWe all been here for 20 years, you\u2019ve been here for three … You\u2019re done for, bro,\u201d Gallagher says. \u201cYou\u2019re not gonna get privacy. You\u2019ll never get privacy here.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI can\u2019t wait \u2019til this gets out,\u201d Littrell then says of the video.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Walton County Sheriff’s Department<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n Following the altercation, Littrell called 911 and subsequently submitted a legal affidavit claiming Gallagher had struck his hand and was disturbing the peace.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Police later questioned Gallagher, who told them he had simply acted on \u201creflex\u201d after Littrell \u201cstartled\u201d him by thrusting his phone in his face.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n After reviewing the evidence, Walton County\u2019s Deputy Chief Assistant State Attorney Josh Mitchell opted against arresting Gallagher, a decision Littrell\u2019s attorney Peter Ticktin called a miscarriage of justice.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cLittrell was assaulted by a hostile beach protester,\u201d Ticktin told local outlet WMBB.<\/a> \u201cA report was made to the feckless sheriff\u2019s office. The assault was awful enough, but the fact that the sheriff\u2019s office is not enforcing the law makes our whole community one of greater danger.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Littrell\u2019s Santa Rosa Beach property has been a source of strife since he purchased it for $3.8 million in 2023.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Last July, the singer sued the local sheriff\u2019s department<\/a>, accusing law enforcement of failing to protect his family from \u201cnumerous trespassers\u201d intending \u201cto antagonize, bully and harass\u201d them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n In February, courts dismissed a separate civil complaint the pop star had filed against another local resident whom he\u2019s accused of trespassing and stalking.
