Raye<\/a> has apologised to fans who purchased her new album, This Music May Contain Hope, <\/em>on vinyl format after a mishap with the final mix.<\/p>\n

The \u2018Where is My Husband\u2019 singer bemoaned the \u201cbeautiful but agonising\u201d process of making her latest LP.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Zane Lowe<\/a>, the star began, \u201cMy vinyl is a first edition. I really apologise\u2026 I\u2019m apologising to anyone who\u2019s purchased an album.\u201d<\/p>\n

She explained that the vinyl was pressed before the mix was finalised, giving vinyl listeners a \u201cfirst edition\u201d that is notably different from the streaming version of the tracks.<\/p>\n

The Brit Award-winner was quick to add, \u201cYou are getting the album. It\u2019s not a fraudulent album. However, it is a first edition. I want you to know the digital versions of some of these songs \u2014 some are quite different.\u201d<\/p>\n

Raye approached the matter as a realist, sharing defiantly, \u201cAnd you just need to embrace that because I tried my best.\u201d Later, she deemed the writing and recording process \u201ca labour of absolute passion and love.\u201d<\/p>\n

This is Raye\u2019s second apology<\/a> in as many months for matters out of her hands. The singer-songwriter also apologised to fans in Paris after an error made by Ticketmaster, which saw 65 ticket holders denied entry to one of her shows.<\/p>\n

Though the situation was entirely out of her control, the star offered all of those impacted \u201cwho didn\u2019t get into the show complimentary tickets to any Raye future show of their choice and a signed vinyl.\u201d<\/p>\n

Raye is currently in the midst of a 40-date tour celebrating the new project. Providing direct support throughout the entire tour, her younger sisters, Absolutely and Amma, have joined the \u2018Oscar Winning Tears<\/a>\u2018 singer for the global trek.<\/p>\n

In a glowing five-star review<\/a> of her second LP, Far Out <\/em>observed, \u201cIn allowing the listener to give themselves over to its majesty, theatrical magic, and ultimate exhilaration, there\u2019s nothing that stands in the way of its symphonic power. A rich orchestral backing is the only option \u2013 but Raye already knows that.\u201d<\/p>\n
