Drag Race: Philippines<\/em> confirmed that one of the show\u2019s upcoming stars, Misua<\/strong>, died on Thursday, April 2. She was 27.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are heartbroken to share that Misua, a talented Queen set to appear on season four of Drag Race Philippines<\/em> passed away in her sleep the morning of April 2,\u201d the show announced in a joint Instagram caption<\/a> with its production team World of Wonder. \u201cShe brought light, artistry, and joy to those around her, and she will be deeply missed.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement continued, \u201cWe have paused production to care for and support our cast and crew during this incredibly difficult time. Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and all who loved her.\u201d<\/p>\n

Drag Race: Philippines<\/em> shared that it is \u201cin contact with her family,\u201d who have asked for \u201cprivacy during this hard time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Misua\u2019s cause of death is currently unclear. The fourth season of Drag Race: Philippines<\/em> is currently in production. It was announced in October 2025 that the season is set to air later this year. Details about the show\u2019s future have yet to be revealed.<\/p>\n
