Bob\u2019s Burgers<\/em> star Eugene Mirman<\/strong> returned to social media days after he was injured in a car accident.<\/p>\n

Mirman, 51, took to Instagram<\/a> on Friday, April 3, to share a photo of himself wearing a bandage around his wrist and on his finger as he held up a sign that read, \u201cLife Is an Adventure.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHello everyone,\u201d the voice actor began. \u201cThank you so much for all the well wishes, love and kind messages from friends and strangers. I am extraordinarily thankful to the heroic people that pulled me from the car and to the warm, kind and talented staff at the hospital that cared for me and got me on the mend!\u201d<\/p>\n

Mirman continued, \u201cI am thankful beyond words to be here and doing relatively alright, all things considered. I don\u2019t have my phone, so haven\u2019t been online much. I do not recommend my method of decreasing screen-time. If you\u2019re a friend who sent a kind, loving message, you should know that it was hard to not respond with, \u2018I\u2019d love to be on your podcast.\u2019 I love you all and please take care of yourselves, Eugene.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mirman\u2019s spokesperson previously confirmed the actor\u2019s involvement in a crash<\/a> in Bedford, New Hampshire.<\/p>\n

\u201cEugene was in a very scary car accident,\u201d his rep told Us Weekly<\/em> on Wednesday, April 1. \u201cHe wants to thank the bystanders, state police, first responders and hospital staff who saved him. He is grateful to be on the mend. At this time, we kindly ask for privacy for Eugene and his family as he focuses on recovering from his injuries.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the New Hampshire Department of Safety, the single-vehicle crash took place on Tuesday, March 31. Mirman\u2019s 2026 Lucid Gravity SUV hit a toll tower and burst into flames.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile units were responding, a veteran State Trooper assigned to Governor Kelly Ayotte<\/strong>\u2019s security detail came upon the crash, saw that the vehicle was actively on fire and observed the driver was still inside,\u201d per a press release. \u201cThe driver was then pulled from the burning car through a window and brought to safety. Governor Kelly Ayotte, along with other witnesses at the scene, provided assistance to the Trooper.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the colonel, Ayotte, 57, was one of the individuals who stepped in to help.<\/p>\n
