According to Variety<\/i><\/span><\/a>, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/i><\/span><\/a> star\u2019s storyline will be edited out of season 3 of the reality series once it debuts Thursday, April 16.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/i> has reached out to Hulu and Dakota\u2019s rep for comment.<\/p>\n

The decision comes after Dakota, 33, faced several headlines for his up-and-down relationship with ex-girlfriend Taylor Frankie Paul<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has allegedly halted production after Taylor Frankie Paul and her off-and-on ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen were involved in a domestic violence dispute while filming season 5. Multiple outlets reported in March that an incident took place between Taylor and Dakota. A spokesperson for the Draper City Police Department subsequently confirmed [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

News broke on March 16 that the exes, who share son Ever, 2, were allegedly part of a dispute that transpired a few weeks prior. The revelation sparked a halt on production of season 5<\/span><\/a> of Hulu\u2019s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/i><\/span><\/a>, which both Taylor, 31, and Dakota have appeared on since season 1.<\/p>\n

At the time, a spokesperson for the Draper City Police Department in Utah<\/span><\/a> confirmed to Us<\/i> at the time that there is an open \u201cdomestic assault investigation\u201d involving the pair. Authorities added that \u201callegations have been made in both directions\u201d and \u201ccontact was made with involved parties.\u201d (Authorities in Utah were aware of two incidents that reportedly occurred between February 22 and February 23.)<\/p>\n

The Draper Police Department later passed along their investigation to the district attorney\u2019s office to determine if charges were warranted.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe district attorney\u2019s office will determine if any charges will be filed,\u201d Draper Police Department Chief Rich Ferguson<\/strong> said in a March 26 release<\/span><\/a>. \u201cIf the district attorney\u2019s office declines to file charges, the city prosecutor will evaluate any further action available based on that determination.\u201d<\/p>\n
