New Orleans has become a well-known player over the last decade in the world of Hollywood films, contributing picturesque scenery, iconic shoot sites, and now, stellar vintage costumes for stars.<\/p>\n

Charli XCX, whose \u201cBrat\u201d album took the world by storm in summer 2024, was recently seen in a promo photo for the upcoming horror movie, \u201cFaces of Death,\u201d dressed head-to-toe in clothing sourced from a Bywater shop.<\/p>\n

Low Timers<\/a>, located at 3207 Burgundy Street, shared an Instagram story on Wednesday from costume designer Lauren Bott, showing Charli, whose real name is Charlotte Aitchison, sitting outside and chatting as she holds a cigarette.<\/p>\n

Bott said Charli\u2019s outfit \u2014 an oversized light brown jacket with a white top, jeans and black boots \u2014 came from the store, calling it her favorite vintage shop.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cFaces of Death\u201d is a reimagining of the cult \u201870s horror film of the same name, a movie infamous for its documentary-style depiction of gruesome murders. \u201cEuphoria\u201d actress Barbie Ferreira stars as an online content moderator who comes across the snuff films. Charli can be briefly seen in the movie\u2019s trailer watching one of the violent videos on her phone.<\/p>\n

Charli, a movie lover with an active Letterboxd account, also starred as a version of herself in the concert mockumentary \u201cThe Moment\u201d this year. Along with \u201cThe Moment,\u201d two other films featuring the pop star screened at the Sundance Film Festival<\/a>, the raunchy comedy \u201cI Want Your Sex\u201d and the thriller \u201cThe Gallerist.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
