Jessica Simpson<\/strong> <\/a>has a new man in her life following her split from Eric Johnson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed in April 2026 that the \u201cIrresistible\u201d singer is dating a Nashville-based musician<\/a> named Thomas Eisenhood<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The romance comes more than one year after Simpson announced her split from Johnson<\/a> in January 2025.<\/p>\n

\u201cEric and I have been living separately navigating a painful situation in our marriage,\u201d she told Us<\/em> in a statement at the time. \u201cOur children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them. We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Simpson and Johnson share daughters Maxwell Drew, born in May 2012, and Birdie Mae, born in March 2019, and son Ace Knute, born in June 2013. The exes tied the knot in 2014.<\/p>\n

Thomas Eisenhood is a musician with \u201cvaried experience\u201d in music production and operations, according to his LinkedIn<\/a>. He graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a B.A. in Philosophy and a B.S. in Psychology in 2015. He began his career in entertainment as a media assistant in college before landing a job in venue operations at The Howlin\u2019 Wolf in New Orleans from 2015 to 2017.<\/p>\n

Eisenhood has also worked as an IT technician, graphic designer, stage hand, live sound engineer and networking assistant. He currently works as a freelancer in event productions and operations.<\/p>\n

Thomas Eisenhood is a former member of the New Orleans-based alternative rock band Stoop Kids. He played baritone saxophone with the group from 2012 to 2023, when Stoop Kids announced an indefinite hiatus.<\/p>\n
