Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has received his first royal visitor since being placed in isolation at Sandringham following his removal from the Royal Lodge.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The disgraced former prince,\u00a0who was arrested in February on the morning of his 66th birthday on suspicion of misconduct in public office, was referred to as “Detainee A” during a 12-hour interview at Aylsham Police Station in Norfolk.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The father-of-two has since been released under\u00a0investigation, but\u00a0has been stripped of his military and royal patronages following the release of the Epstein files, which linked him to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Since then. his only visitor was\u00a0his younger brother\u00a0Prince Edward, who\u00a0reportedly visited\u00a0for a \u201cquiet word\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cPrince Edward was the first and only member of the Royal Family to visit,\u201d a source told The Sun\u00a0on Friday.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The visit came after months of public scrutiny and family distancing, with\u00a0Andrew\u00a0largely shunned\u00a0by the royal household.\u00a0<\/p>\n
