Harry is set to attend the one-year countdown event to the Invictus Games set to take place in Birmingham in 2027 and he will also be carrying out an engagement linked to the WellChild charity, of which he has been patron since 2007. Reports recently claimed the Duke wants to bring his wife, Meghan Markle<\/a>, and two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to spend \u201cfamily time\u201d in England, but only if security is provided.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Sussexes saw their security downgrade after they quit the Firm six years ago. But a source close to Harry told The Times: \u201cIf he [Harry] was invited by the King, he would get a security package that automatically kicks in.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cHe\u2019d like an invite to Sandringham. Would he go? It would depend on who was there. If the King was to say \u2018Come up and spend some time with the family\u2019 he\u2019d love that. He always loves seeing his father and would love to see him as much as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

But now new reports suggested the latest claims did not paint the full picture.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

According to the Mirror<\/a>, Harry has not requested an invite to Sandringham this summer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It is understood that the focus \u201cremains on the official risk assessment results coming through\u201d and that while Harry wouldn\u2019t be opposed to a royal invite and a possible meeting with the King, no such moves have been made from the Sussex camp.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It is also understood that Harry has not received any invitation from the royals either.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It comes as Ravec, the Home Office’s Royal and VIP Executive Committee, is conducting a new risk assessment of the Duke of Sussex.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The assessment is yet to be completed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
