Amy Duggar <\/b><\/a>has some thoughts when it comes to her cousin Joseph Duggar<\/b><\/a>\u2019s prison communications with his wife, Kendra Duggar<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou hear this? He called his wife \u2018competent\u2019 and she took it as a compliment,\u201d Amy, 39, said in a Thursday, April 2, TikTok<\/span><\/a> video, presumably referring to recently released audio from Joseph\u2019s stay at the Washington County Sheriff\u2019s Office in Arkansas late last month without mentioning her cousin by name. \u201cUm, last time I checked, marriage isn\u2019t a performance review and she\u2019s not your employee.\u201d<\/p>\n

Joseph, 31, was arrested in Arkansas on March 18<\/span><\/a> for unlawful sexual activity with a minor after he was accused of allegedly molesting a 9-year-old girl in Florida in 2020. The victim, now 14, told police that Joseph \u201ceventually apologized for his actions\u201d at the time before \u201cthe incidents stopped.\u201d<\/p>\n

Joseph was held at Washington County for weeks before his extradition to Florida, where the alleged crime took place. The former reality TV star pleaded not guilty and was released on $600,000 bond. In that time, he spoke with Kendra<\/span><\/a>, 27, multiple times via phone and email.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tAmy Duggar King has thanked fans on behalf of her family following the arrests of her cousin Joseph Duggar and his wife, Kendra Duggar. The 19 Kids and Counting alum, 39, shared a message from the \u201cGod Lady Talk\u201d Instagram account on Friday, March 27, which read, \u201cSurround yourself with people who pray for you [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Counting On <\/i>alum and Kendra, who share four children, were also both arrested<\/span><\/a> for four counts endangering the welfare of a minor, second-degree, and four counts of second-degree false imprisonment. Kendra was released hours after her arrest after posting bond, while Joseph remained in custody.\u00a0 (A spokesperson for the Duggar family confirmed to Us<\/i> that the charges are unrelated to Joseph\u2019s alleged sexual misconduct case.)<\/p>\n

When Kendra spoke with Joseph, she frequently asked how he was coping and whether he needed money<\/span><\/a> to pay for future calls. Kendra also revealed that she was staying somewhere \u201cprivate\u201d without the kids and was fighting to eventually reunite as a family.<\/p>\n

As for Amy, she was confused by the manner in which Joseph often spoke to his wife.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat the crap was that? That\u2019s what happens when the bar is set so low,\u201d she stated in her TikTok video. \u201cIt\u2019s so sad that it seems that she will accept any breadcrumb [of affection] that comes her way, and that means she\u2019s probably been starving for a very long time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Amy continued, \u201cI\u2019m just gonna say it: Real love is out there. There is such a thing as real, good love. It doesn\u2019t just acknowledge you, it celebrates you. It breathes life into your soul.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a follow-up video, Amy also appeared to criticize Kendra<\/span><\/a> for standing by Joseph\u2019s side amid his arrest.<\/p>\n
