Meghan Markle<\/a> was pictured shopping for Easter gifts for her two children in California this week. The 44-year-old stepped out near her home in Montecito on Wednesday, where she was seen likely preparing for Prince Archie<\/a> and Princess Lilibet<\/a>‘s Easter baskets.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Browsing a local toy store in her hometown, Meghan bought Magic Rabbit playing cards and Magic Castle Sea Monkeys during the low-key outing. The former working royal is a proud mum to son Archie, who will turn seven next month, and four-year-old daughter Lilibet.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Speaking of Meghan’s latest shopping trip, a source told PEOPLE: “She was picking up Easter gifts for her kids and her godchildren. She was there for a while, talking to the staff and making selections.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

A throwback purchase, Sea Monkeys was a popular children’s toy between the 1960s and 1990s.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The royal has previously made sure that Archie and Lilibet enjoy the Easter break, with her seen preparing an Easter Egg hunt for her son in 2021.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A heavily-pregnant Meghan was seen in the couple’s garden at their home in Monetcito in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s 2022 Netflix<\/a> docuseries.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The couple moved to California in 2020, when their son was less than a year-old. They later welcomed their daughter the following year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Speaking to PEOPLE<\/a> last year, Meghan shared the community have become protective of her young family.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She said: “Once you know us, I think you want us to have the same normalcy as parents and for our children as they do, despite however unique our situation is.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
