Even while fresh off her first Grammy win<\/a>, British pop singer Lola Young<\/a> still has addiction recovery in her sight.<\/p>\n The 25-year-old spoke to The Times<\/em><\/a> in a new cover story, less than a year after collapsing on stage<\/a> during New York\u2019s All Things Go festival. Obsess.<\/a><\/p>\n Young, who performed her hit song \u201cMessy\u201d<\/a> at the 2026 Grammys first told The Times<\/em> that she didn\u2019t want to \u201csay too much\u201d in order to protect her \u201cprivacy.\u201d She then revealed that she was in recovery for substance abuse.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat I would say is that recovery is an ongoing process,\u201d she told The Times<\/em>. \u201cI\u2019m not the finished article, but I\u2019m doing a hell of a lot better.\u201d<\/p>\n In a Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a> article published earlier this month, Young recounted that during her onstage collapse, she was on the verge of \u201cself-sabotage\u201d amid press runs, performances and while having schizoaffective disorder.
