Britney Spears<\/strong><\/a> appears to be enjoying her time with close friends in the wake of her recent DUI arrest<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cFun afternoon with some old friends,\u201d songwriter Diane Warren<\/strong><\/a> wrote via Instagram<\/a> on Sunday, April 5, along with a bunny emoji in honor of Easter 2026<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Warren, 69, also shared a selfie featuring friends Spears, 44, and Saturday Night Live<\/em> alum Molly Shannon<\/strong><\/a>, as well as Spears\u2019 manager and longtime friend, Cade Hudson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The pop star gave the camera the middle finger while posing with her friends and holding what appeared to be a cocktail, though it is unclear if the drink contained any alcohol. The singer wore a black hat, matching black sunglasses, black fingerless gloves, what appeared to be a white scarf and a burnt orange top.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBritney Spears is working on herself following her recent DUI arrest. Us Weekly understands that Spears, 44, has been sober since her DUI arrest, which occurred three weeks ago. The pop star is also attending AA meetings. Us Weekly has reached out to Spears\u2019 rep for comment. Earlier this month, Spears was arrested in Ventura [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Spears was pulled over<\/a> on March 4 after California Highway Patrol Ventura Communications Center received a report of a black BMW driving erratically at a high rate of speed on the 101 freeway. After authorities claimed the singer showed signs of impairment, she was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of a combination of drugs and alcohol and booked into Ventura County Main Jail. The pop star was released three hours later.<\/p>\n

Chemical tests are pending and the incident is still under investigation at the time of publication. Spears\u2019 court date is currently scheduled for Monday, May 4.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable,\u201d Spears\u2019 rep told Us Weekly<\/em> in a statement following the arrest. \u201cBritney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law, and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney\u2019s life. Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n

The rep added that Spears had plans to spend time with her sons, Preston, 20, and Jayden, 19, whom she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline<\/strong><\/a>, in the wake of her arrest. (Spears and Federline divorced in 2007 after three years of marriage. The singer moved on with Sam Asghari<\/strong><\/a>, whom she was married to from 2022 to 2023.)<\/p>\n
