James Middleton made his return to Instagram on Sunday after stepping away from the platform throughout Lent, marking the occasion by posting a collection of family photographs featuring his two-year-old son Inigo.<\/p>\n\n

A video clip showed the toddler pedalling his bicycle along a rural lane as his mother, Aliz\u00e9e Thevenet, jogged alongside him, one of their pets on a lead.<\/p>\n

Mr Middleton went on to encourage his followers to consider stepping back from their online presence.<\/p>\n

“Sometimes we don’t fully realise the pressure social media puts on us until we take a step back,” he reflected, recommending others try disconnecting for “a week, a month, or even longer.”<\/p>\n

He concluded by expressing appreciation for those who had reached out during his hiatus, writing: “Anyhow… we’re back! Aliz\u00e9e, Inigo, the dogs, and I are wishing you all a very Happy Easter and thank you for checking in on me.”<\/p>\n

Supporters responded warmly, with one commending his openness and noting that “spending time with people and dogs you love is definitely far more important.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While Mr Middleton enjoyed a quiet family gathering, his sister Catherine joined the wider Royal Family for the traditional Easter service at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, with King Charles and Queen Camilla leading the congregation.<\/p>\n

Mr Middleton first encountered his French-born wife, Ms Thevenet, at a London private members’ club in 2018.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Hello!, he reflected on that meeting: “If that moment hadn’t been seized, I wouldn’t have met my wife, I wouldn’t have my beautiful son.”<\/p>\n
