Look, we\u2019ve been here before. But Californian punk shit-stirrers Guttermouth<\/a> are once again declaring this is it<\/em> \u2013 their final-ever Australian tour. No take-backsies. Probably. Maybe. Frontman Mark Adkins (who turns 60 this year, mind you) reckons he\u2019s finally ready to hang it up after decades of chaos down under, declaring he\u2019s \u201cseen the beaches, the bars, the bans, the bullshit. I\u2019ve partied, I\u2019ve fought, I\u2019ve blacked out in places I still can\u2019t pronounce, enough is enough.\u201d<\/p>\n Dubbed the Australia, One Last Time Tour<\/em>, the run will hit seven cities this October (Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane) dragging along local degenerates Ebolagoldfish and Fake News for good measure.<\/p>\n \u201cThis tour tips its hat to the country that\u2019s welcomed (and occasionally booted) them back forever,\u201d declares a press statement. \u201cSo, grab a ticket if you\u2019re game for one more round. Or don\u2019t. Mark\u2019s feet are up, cold one in hand, zero fucks left. This is it \u2013 \u2018One Last Time,\u2019 or whatever the hell comes next\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n Before you ask, this follows their other<\/em> \u201cfinal\u201d Aussie tour a couple of years back. But hey, if any band has earned the right to cry wolf, it\u2019s Guttermouth. Their history here is basically a highlight reel of venue bans, unhinged live shows and absolute carnage \u2013 and somehow, we keep coming back for more.<\/p>\n And tbh if history\u2019s anything to go by, \u201cfinal\u201d might just mean \u201csee you in a few years\u201d. Guttermouth\u2019s relationship with Australia has been gloriously unhinged \u2013 from their infamously disastrous 2013 \u201cfarewell\u201d tour<\/a> (packed with some, uh, very<\/em> inebriated performances) to Mark Adkins\u2019 post-tour spiral that somehow ended in a Mexican prison stint.<\/p>\n They bounced back with a redemption arc of sorts on 2015\u2019s \u201cless drunk\u201d return \u2013 which still included publicly \u201cfiring\u201d their Aussie publicist mid-tour<\/a>, because of course it did.
