Back in February, Boston metallic hardcore pioneers Converge released Love Is Not Enough<\/a><\/em>, their first proper album in about nine years. It fucking rules. Last week, Converge announced plans to follow Love Is Not Enough<\/em> almost immediately with Hum Of Hurt<\/em>, their second<\/em> new album of 2026. Judging by the title track<\/a>, as well as past experience with this band, that album will almost certainly fucking rule, too. Converge are one of the few legacy acts where you want<\/em> to hear the new songs when you go to the show, and they worked a bunch of new tracks into their setlist when they kicked off their latest tour at Cleveland’s House Of Blues last Thursday.<\/p>\n Right now, Converge are out on a co-headlining tour with their reactivated peers Poison The Well, as well as the much newer hardcore bands Spy and Balmora. On the tour’s second leg, Spy and Balmora will drop off, and the Armed and the Barbarians Of California will jump on. The first stop of the tour included live debuts of “Hum Of Hurt” and the Love Is Not Enough<\/em> tracks “Bad Faith,” “Amon Amok,” “Distract And Divide,” and “To Feel Something.” They also played the classics like “Dark Horse,” “Broken Vow,” and “Concubine.” Below, check out a live video that includes much of the set, as well as the night-one setlist, via Setlist.fm<\/a>.<\/p>\n
