Known for his EDM roots, Jace is now exploring a more urban pop direction, a transition shaped in part by his collaboration with producer\u00a0 Jonathan Manalo.<\/p>\n \u201cSir Jonathan really pushed me to step out of my comfort zone. With \u2018Pagbangon,\u2019 he challenged me to deliver fuller vocals and explore a different vocal style. He\u2019s very particular about what he wants in a song, and he really pushes me to become better,\u201d Jace said.<\/p>\n While the song began as a tribute to his late uncle, its meaning has since expanded. Jace now sees \u201cPagbangon,\u201d which translates to \u201crecover\u201d or \u201cgetting back up,\u201d as a reflection of resilience\u2014not just for himself but for listeners facing their own struggles.<\/p>\n \u201cHealing takes time. Whatever you\u2019re going through, you really have to go through the process; you can\u2019t skip it. It\u2019s not something you can rush.
