Perez Hilton<\/strong><\/a><\/span> couldn\u2019t help but get emotional as he shared a health update following his recent hospitalization.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been crying a lot lately. I obviously am still processing everything that happened, but these tears are good,\u201d Hilton, 48, shared via an Instagram<\/span><\/a> video on Monday, April 6. \u201cI nearly died. I was in the hospital for 21 days. God and my amazing doctors and nurses saved me. God presented himself to me in the hospital and then healed me in something I can only describe as a miracle.\u201d<\/p>\n

Back in March, Hilton spent 21 days in the hospital while battling Sepsis<\/span><\/a>, a potentially life-threatening<\/span><\/a> response to an infection that can lead to severe organ failure. He later detailed his health scare in a revealing 25-minute YouTube video<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Friday, April 3, Hilton returned to the hospital for another surgery to remove a \u201cmassive\u201d blood clot<\/span><\/a> in his body.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tPerez Hilton can\u2019t hide his gratitude for his health after surviving several scares in 2026. Instead of gossiping about celebrity news, the self-proclaimed \u201coriginal influencer\u201d has spent the early part of the year documenting the ups and downs of his health as he received medical care near Las Vegas. \u201cMarch madness indeed!\u201d Hilton wrote via [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThis whole experience has been the biggest blessing. God destroyed me more than once to build me back up stronger and better than before,\u201d he shared. \u201cNow, since I went through so much trauma, I have signed up, and I\u2019m really excited to begin therapy this week. I\u2019m getting somebody to help guide me through this alongside God.\u201d<\/p>\n

While the surgery to repair his deep vein thrombosis was a success, Hilton revealed in a separate Instagram video that his recovery won\u2019t occur overnight.<\/p>\n

Instead of celebrating Easter Sunday<\/span><\/a> with a variety of activities alongside his three children, the self-proclaimed \u201coriginal influencer\u201d found himself in bed trying to cope with discomfort.<\/p>\n

\u201cWalking has been incredibly hard. I\u2019m in a lot of pain, severe pain and I\u2019m trying not to take any pain medications but the pain is 11 out of 10,\u201d he shared via Instagram<\/span><\/a> on Sunday, April 5. \u201cThey did my surgery on Friday morning on my stomach and the entry point was below my knee. The same area that hurt me the most was the same area they entered so if you want to send some prayers or just positive vibes that I get better soon and can walk without pain, that would be amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n
