Howard Stern<\/strong><\/a><\/span> and his wife, Beth Stern<\/span><\/a><\/strong>, have been sued by a former employee claiming the couple created a hostile work environment.<\/p>\n

According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly<\/i> on Monday, April 6, Leslie Kuhn<\/strong> was hired as an office manager for SiriusXM\u2019s The Howard Stern Show<\/i><\/a> in September 2022 before she became Howard\u2019s executive assistant in January 2024.<\/p>\n

Four months later, Kuhn claims she was asked to move to Southampton, New York, to work at Howard, 72, and Beth\u2019s mansion.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeth Stern told Kuhn that, in addition to assisting [Howard], Beth needed assistance with such things as managing the staff of the mansion, setting staffing schedules, completing staff payroll and managing general household operations, including Beth\u2019s extensive at-home feline rescue and fostering operations,\u201d the docs stated.<\/p>\n

Beth is a known animal advocate who serves<\/span><\/a> as the national spokesperson for North Shore Animal League America. She also was instrumental in creating Bianca\u2019s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center, which recently opened at North Shore Animal League America, the world\u2019s largest no-kill shelter and rescue organization.<\/p>\n

On February 26, Kuhn\u2019s employment was allegedly terminated for cause.<\/p>\n

\u201cKuhn contends that her termination was the result of, among other things, a hostile work environment and enablement of that hostile work environment, immense pressures on the household created by irresponsible and untenable animal rescue and fostering operations occurring on-site, and massively disorganized and questionable business operations and accounting practices,\u201d court documents state. \u201cAs such, Kuhn fully intends to disclose details concerning the facts surrounding her employment.\u201d<\/p>\n

The lawsuit also alleges that a law firm representing Stern\u2019s production company presented her with a separation agreement containing a nondisclosure agreement\u00a0that she claims she did not sign.<\/p>\n

Kuhn and her legal team allege her \u201csignature\u201d is \u201cnothing more than her typewritten name in the same font style and size used to identify the parties\u2019 names in the recitals of the agreement.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Confidentiality Agreement was thus fabricated by the\u00a0[the Sterns]\u00a0and is,\u00a0accordingly, void\u00a0[from the beginning],\u201d court documents claim. \u201cNo person or persons, natural or otherwise, ever presented Kuhn with the Non-Disclosure Agreement for her signature. Kuhn never signed the Non-Disclosure Agreement.\u201d<\/p>\n
