BROOME COUNTY, N.Y. (WIVT\/WBGH) -AP Entertainment is The Greater Binghamton Chamber Business of the Week.<\/p>\n
The local DJ company focuses on special events, from weddings to parties to fundraisers. It also holds trivia nights every Monday through Thursday. Monday is at California Grill in Vestal, Tuesday is at Iron Agave in downtown Binghamton, Wednesday is at The Galley in Endwell, and Thursday is at Beer Tree Farm in Port Crane.<\/p>\n
Owner Andy Papaleo founded the business in 2011. He says the message he wants to spread is that AP Entertainment is all about having fun.<\/p>\n
Owner Andy Papaleo says, \u201cWe want to say, hey come have fun with us. Your hard-earned money is going out to this event, you can laugh, you can cheer, you can boo, you can make fun of us. We\u2019re having fun, we wanna hear you be loud and be active and laugh and cheer and everything like that.\u201d<\/p>\n
Papaleo says on April 18th, AP Entertainment is holding its 9th Annual World\u2019s Largest Trivia Party. He says in 2017 they set the Guinness Book of World Records for being the largest trivia event in the world with 607 people.<\/p>\n
Papaleo says the record held through 2019 before it was broken, but he is hoping to get it back.
The event will have two to 14 people per team and will feature an open bar, dinner and dessert.
A live band, The Clue will also be performing. The event will take place at Seton Catholic on April 18th, doors open at 6:30 with trivia starting at 7.<\/p>\n
Tickets cost $45 and proceeds will be donated to The Mercy House of the Southern Tier.<\/p>\n
