Move over, cherry blossoms! It\u2019s the apple blossom\u2019s time to shine\u2014at least that\u2019s what A Season to Blossom<\/a> is saying.<\/p>\n

The new Hallmark Channel<\/a> movie follows Elise, \u201ca drifting aspiring writer [who] returns to sell her late grandmother\u2019s bookstore.\u201d However, the quaint town\u2019s \u201ctraditions\u201d and her \u201cchildhood crush\u201d may just allow her to \u201crediscover her voice, her roots, and a love worth staying for.\u201d<\/p>\n

The springtime romance features several familiar faces for fans of the network, including Emily Tennant<\/a> and Carlo Marks<\/a>, who star in the new movie as Elise Everett and Max Whitman.<\/p>\n

    An aspiring writer, Elise finds herself tasked with closing up The Driftless Bookstore \u2014owned by her late grandmother Lorraine\u2014and preparing it to go on the market. Having spent every summer in Driftless visiting her grandmother, Elise finds comfort in the familiar\u2014including her childhood crush, Max.<\/p>\n

    Actress Emily Tennant is no stranger to Hallmark Channel, having most recently appeared in 2025\u2019s Christmas Above the Clouds<\/a>. She also lent her voice to the animated Polly Pocket<\/a> series, and appeared in the Shudder original film, Influencers<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Max (Carlo Marks) helps run his family\u2019s farm, and is simultaneously pursuing his own passion project of crafting his own hard cider. When Elise returns to Drifting, he is reminded of the summers they spent together, and is happy to seek her writing assistance as he pitches a name and concept for his concoction.<\/p>\n

    Marks is a certified Hallmark hunk, having appeared in films like Sugarplummed<\/a> and Scouting for Christmas<\/a> in addition to the network\u2019s drama series, Chesapeake Shores<\/a>, but he has also earned credits on TV shows like Smallville<\/a>, The 100<\/a>, and CIA<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    EaeMya Thyngi plays Molly Teller, who has been an employee at Elise\u2019s late grandmother\u2019s bookstore since she was 14, and is a crucial source of knowledge and support for Elise as she gets the store ready for sale. However, a hidden talent of hers may take priority over stocking shelves.<\/p>\n

    Winnie, played by Laura Soltis, is an active member of the Driftless community. Upon meeting Elise, she tells her that she helps with the Apple Blossom Festival, a local event that Elise\u2019s grandmother would host readings alongside, and assured Elise that Lorraine was \u201cthe heartbeat of this town.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Soltis has appeared in several Hallmark Channel movies, including this year\u2019s Nelly Knows Mysteries: All Manners of Murder.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Mark Humphrey plays Max\u2019s father Earl, who is concerned his son\u2019s goals of launching his own cider and distributing it outside of Driftless are a bit too lofty.<\/p>\n

    Humphrey may be recognizable to Hearties (When Calls the Heart<\/a> fans) as Frank Hogan, who he played in a 27-episode arc across Seasons 2-5. Among his other TV credits are CTV\u2019s E-N-G, Alias<\/a>, and CSI: Miami<\/a>. He also appeared in Crime 101<\/a>, starring<\/a> Chris Hemsworth<\/a>, Mark Ruffalo<\/a>, and Halle Berry<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n
