A federal judge dismissed several of Blake Lively’s claims in her sexual harassment case against Justin Baldoni,<\/a> and the actress’s best friend, Taylor Swift, has reportedly shared her reaction.<\/p>\n Swift and Lively have been friends for a decade, but the lawsuit has reportedly put a strain on their relationship. 10 of the 13 claims have been dismissed, leaving three to be left for when the case hits trial in May. According to AOL, Swift is happy that the case is getting \u201cdramatically weaker\u201d so that it won’t be dragged into when she plans to wed Travis Kelce, which reportedly could occur this summer.<\/a> The insider added that Swift reacted to the news, saying it’s a \u201chuge relief.\u201d<\/p>\n The Gossip Girl alum shared how she felt amid the judge’s decision to dismiss some of her claims.<\/p>\n \u201cI’m grateful for the Court’s ruling which allows the heart of my case to be presented to a jury next month, and for the ability to finally tell my story in full at trial, for my own sake, but also for those who don’t have the same opportunity to\u2026 many of whom I have known and loved deeply in my life, and the countless I’ll never know,\u201d Lively wrote in her Instagram statement per ABC.<\/p>\n \u201cThe last thing I wanted in my life was a lawsuit, but I brought this case because of the pervasive RETALIATION I faced, and continue to, for privately and professionally asking for a safe working environment for myself and others,\u201d Lively wrote in her statement. \u201cI hope the Court’s decision shows others that, as unfathomably painful as it is, you can speak up.\u201d<\/p>\n As for Baldoni, his attorneys said they were \u201cvery pleased the Court dismissed all sexual harassment claims and every claim\u201d brought against Baldoni and his co-defendants.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThese were very serious allegations, and we are grateful to the Court for its careful review of the facts, law and voluminous evidence that was provided,\u201d Baldoni’s legal team said. \u201cWhat’s left is a significantly narrowed case, and we look forward to presenting our defense to the remaining claims in court.\u201d<\/p>\n Lively first filed her lawsuit in December 2024, where she accused Baldoni of sexual harassment on the set of It Ends With Us. She also claimed Baldoni who not only starred in the Colleen Hoover adaptation but directed it, of launching a smear campaign against her.<\/p>\n Baldoni denied Lively’s allegations and countersued for $400 million against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist, Leslie Sloane, which was dismissed in June 2025. He alleged that they were trying to tarnish his reputation.<\/p>\n Swift has denied any involvement in the case. Her song \u201cMy Tears Ricochet\u201d appears in the film but other than the use of the song her team has denied any involvement.<\/p>\n
