\n\tBrazil<\/a> and Colombia are coming together on the musical stage. <\/p>\n \n\tOn Monday (April 6), Anitta<\/a> and Shakira<\/a> announced their first-ever collaboration \u201cChoka Choka\u201d via Instagram. The joint post features the single artwork, depicting the two South American superstars on a tarot card each covered in nothing but a large feather.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cYou have no idea how happy I am to announce this collaboration from my album EQUILIBRIVM,<\/em>\u201d Anitta wrote in the caption in Spanish.<\/p>\n \n\tShakira also shared her excitement around the new song. In an Instagram Story repost of the album cover, Shakira wrote in Portuguese \u2014 notably switching languages with Anitta \u2014 that she was feeling emotional and that \u201cthey don\u2019t know the music we have together.\u201d In a follow-up video on her Story, Shakira continued in Portuguese, calling the song \u201cincredible\u201d and saying that fans are going to love it.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cChoka Choka\u201d will be released Thursday as the second single from Anitta\u2019s upcoming album EQUILIBRIVM<\/em>, set to come out the following Friday, April 16. The album\u2019s lead single, \u201cPinterest,\u201d was released last month. EQUILIBRIVM<\/em> is the Brazilian singer\u2019s seventh studio album. Since her debut album in 2013, Anitta has become a global force for Brazilian music. Her viral 2022 reggaet\u00f3n hit \u201cEnvolver\u201d landed her at No. 3 on the Hot Latin Songs chart as well as her first solo Billboard Hot 100 entry. She has performed at major music festivals and events, including Coachella, Lollapalooza Paris and Billboard Latin Women in Music.<\/p>\n \n\tOn Saturday, Anitta will make her Saturday Night Live <\/em>debut.
