Harry and Meghan have taken on a number of business ventures since they began their new life in the US, however, several of them have been savaged by critics. The Montecito couple is now expected to travel to Australia later this month<\/a> to promote their respective projects, including Meghan\u2019s lifestyle brand, As Ever.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A royal expert dubbed the Australia trip \u201cone of the most anticipated royal events of the year\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Royal correspondent Richard Palmer told the Mirror<\/a>: \u201cTheir [Harry and Meghan\u2019s] Australia trip is one of, if not the, most anticipated royal events of the year. They want to prove their critics wrong, so they will be hoping it is a huge success. If it is, it will be Meghan\u2019s revenge.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It is understood that Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will not accompany the Sussexes on the trip.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

One of the events Meghan is due to attend is a women-only gathering in Sydney, where tickets cost \u00a31,440 per person and she will take part in an on-stage interview.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Her Best Life Retreat will welcome up to 300 women for a three-day luxury event from April 17 to 19 at the five-star InterContinental Hotel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The former Suits actress is set to appear as a guest speaker, with the programme including a gala dinner featuring an in-person conversation with Meghan, as well as \u201cpowerful conversations, relaxation, laughter and unforgettable experiences\u201d, according to organisers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

VIP tickets include premium seating at a table in the front two rows for the gala dinner, as well as a group photo opportunity with Meghan.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It is understood that the Sussex camp remains baffled by what\u2019s been described as a \u201csustained fixation\u201d on undermining Meghan.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A source close to the Duchess’s team told the Daily Express: \u201cWe largely block out the noise. There will always be a small but vocal group of commentators who seem to treat criticising everything she does as a kind of sport.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWhat is striking is how much hostility is directed at the simple fact that she is trying to build a business, as if that is somehow inappropriate or illegitimate. It\u2019s an odd reaction.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
