Offset was rushed to a hospital Monday after being shot near a casino in Florida.<\/p>\n
According to multiple reports, the popular rapper was shot near the Seminole Hard Rock Casino Hotel & Casino in Hollywood.<\/p>\n
\u201cCan confirm Offset was shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care,\u201d a rep for the rapper told Variety<\/b><\/a>. \u201cHe is stable and being closely monitored.\u201d<\/p>\n Offset, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, is best known as a member of the rap group Migos along with Quavo and Takeoff.<\/p>\n Variety reported that there are few details involving the circumstances that led to the shooting.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are aware of an incident that occurred at a valet area after 7 p.m. Monday outside of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital,\u201d Seminole Police told TMZ. <\/b><\/a><\/p>\n Social media rumors suggested that another rapper, Lil Tjay, was also shot in the incident, however there does not appear to be any evidence for that at the moment and the police only mentioned one individual being transported.<\/p>\n Takeoff, who was Offset\u2019s cousin, was shot and killed in Houston back in 2022. He was 28.<\/p>\n Offset, 34, embarked on a solo career in 2017 with his album \u201cWithout Warning.\u201d A single from that album, \u201cRic Flair Drip,\u201d hit number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100.<\/p>\n Flair, the professional wrestling legend, was among those sending support to the rapper on Monday.<\/p>\n \u201cPrayers for Offset!\u201d Flair shared on X. \u201cStay Strong!
