Caitlyn Jenner<\/strong><\/a> is claiming that Sophia Hutchins<\/strong> owed her hundreds of thousands of dollars before her death in 2025.<\/p>\n

According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly<\/em>, Jenner, 76, requested $439,095.88 from Hutchins. Page Six<\/em><\/a> reported that the amount was linked to credit card charges, cash advances, shopping and legal fees.<\/p>\n

Jenner claimed that the largest portion of the amount, which equated to more than $273,000, came from credit card charges at companies like Shopify, eBay, 1stdibs and more.<\/p>\n

Jenner also claimed Hutchins owed her more than $133,000 in shared legal fees for lawyers they retained together. Hutchins also allegedly took out $16,000 in debit card charges and $7,000 in cash advances over time.<\/p>\n

Jenner, 75, was spotted for the first time since the fatal accident in Malibu, telling the Daily Mail that she was experiencing \u201ctough times\u201d while reportedly looking somber, according to the outlet. Page Six<\/em> reported that Jenner allowed Hutchins access to the credit cards for work, but any personal funds were set to be reimbursed. Jenner claimed that this did not happen prior to Hutchins\u2019 death.<\/p>\n

According to TMZ, Hutchins\u2019 estate allowed the claim in the amount Jenner asked.<\/p>\n

News broke in July 2025 that Hutchins died after an incident<\/a> that occurred near Jenner\u2019s home. Hutchins was pronounced dead at the scene after her ATV hit the bumper of a moving car and forced her 350 feet into a ravine. She was 29.<\/p>\n

Hutchins\u2019 official cause of death<\/a> was confirmed in July 2025 by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner as multiple blunt force injuries. The manner of death was listed as an accident.<\/p>\n

Jenner, for her part, spoke out about Hutchins\u2019 death<\/a> in August 2025. \u201cRecently, my good friend Sophia passed away in a tragic accident,\u201d Jenner said during a broadcast of Fox News at Night following a church shooting in Minnesota. \u201cFor the last seven weeks, I\u2019ve been dealing with death, and it\u2019s so difficult. So, when this [tragedy] happened, it really hit me hard.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cHere I am dealing with my grief, and I just can\u2019t even imagine parents who dropped their kid off at school and, like that father just said, \u2018I\u2019ll never get a chance to talk to him again.\u2019 That is just so horrible. I\u2019ve been dealing with grief, and these people have a long road ahead of them, and they\u2019re going to be dealing with grief.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jenner and Hutchins met in 2015 amid the former Keeping Up With the Kardashians<\/em> star\u2019s transition. Hutchins went on to appear in multiple episodes of Jenner\u2019s I Am Cait<\/em> reality series and became the CEO and director of the Caitlyn Jenner Foundation.<\/p>\n
