The first trailer for the upcoming film features a preview of their original song Runway, which plays over the clip with an upbeat dance rhythm. <\/p>\n
The teaser gives fans their first listen to the collaboration ahead of the film\u2019s release.<\/p>\n
Gaga has praised Doechii in the past, calling her one of the most exciting new writers in music. <\/p>\n
Speaking to British Vogue, she said: \u201cYou don\u2019t often see someone come out of the gate with a pen that feels immediately legendary. That\u2019s Doechii to me. I fell in love with her music and her raw, deeply personal perspective.\u201d She added: \u201cThe power in her words, her vulnerability, the way she rhymes with this wild mix of audacity and emotional precision \u2013 it struck me to the core.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nGaga is also set to appear in the fashion\u2011driven sequel. <\/p>\n
\nShe filmed her scenes during her Mayhem Ball Tour last year, following her major role in Joker: Folie \u00e0 Deux. She also made a cameo in Netflix\u2019s hit series Wednesday.<\/p>\n
\nThe Doechii duet reveal comes as Gaga pulled out of her show in Montreal after coming down with a respiratory infection.<\/p>\n
\nShe was due to play her third night at the Bell Centre on Monday (06.04.26) but was told by her doctor not to perform.<\/p>\n
\nShe announced the cancellation on her Instagram Story just hours before she was set to take the stage.<\/p>\n
\nIn her post, Gaga told fans she\u2019d been battling the illness for several days and had been trying to rest, but her condition had worsened.<\/p>\n
\nShe said she\u2019d been \u201cstrongly advised\u201d not to go ahead with the show and admitted she wouldn\u2019t have been able to deliver the performance fans deserved.<\/p>\n
\nShe apologised to everyone who had made plans to attend, saying she felt \u201cheartbroken\u201d to let people down.<\/p>\n
\nThe Born This Way singer said: “Hi everyone, I\u2019m so sorry to share that I\u2019m unable to perform tonight and have to cancel the show. I’ve been fighting a respiratory infection for the past few days and doing everything I can to rest and recover, but it\u2019s gotten worse.<\/p>\n
\n“My doctor has strongly advised me not to perform today and to be honest I don\u2019t think I could give you the quality of a performance today that you deserve.”<\/p>\n
\nGaga added that her earlier shows in Montreal had been \u201cmagical and deeply meaningful\u201d, making the cancellation even harder.<\/p>\n
\nShe went on: “I know how deeply disappointing this is, and I truly could not feel worse about letting you down. I\u2019m so sorry to everyone who made plans to be there and support me.<\/p>\n
\n“Being in Montreal and performing for you on Thursday and Friday was magical and deeply meaningful. To everyone who was coming tonight, I\u2019m absolutely heartbroken and so sorry.”<\/p>\n
