As the search for Nancy Guthrie drags on, a new report claims her daughter, Savannah Guthrie,<\/a> is reportedly considering an exit from Today<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n Sources told NewsNation senior story editor Paula Froelich that Savannah may step away from the NBC<\/a> morning show out of concern for her family, as Froelich said on NewsNation Prime<\/em><\/a> on Saturday.<\/p>\n Froelich previously reported that speculation in her Substack newsletter<\/a>, citing sources who said Savannah feels her mother was targeted because of her and doesn\u2019t want to put her husband, siblings, and children at risk. \u201cShe will not be back for at least three to six months\u2026 if ever,\u201d one source told Froelich.<\/p>\n As of writing, neither Today<\/em> nor Savannah had confirmed or denied the report.<\/p>\n
