New Lady Gaga<\/a> and Doechii<\/a> song ‘Runaway’ has been featured in The Devil Wears Prada 2<\/em><\/a> film trailer. The teaser gives the first listen to the collaboration ahead of the film’s release in May.<\/p>\n The Devil Wears Prada 2\u00a0<\/em>follows Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep<\/a>), who struggles against Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt<\/a>), her former assistant turned rival executive, “as they compete for advertising revenue amid declining print media, while Miranda nears retirement,” according to the synopsis.<\/p>\n The new cast includes Kenneth Branagh, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Pauline Chalamet, BJ Novak, and more.<\/p>\n Gaga is also set to appear in the film. The Devil Wears Prada 2<\/em> marks her first big-screen appearance since Joker: Folie \u00e0 Deux<\/em><\/a>. She also appeared in a cameo role on Netflix<\/a>‘s season 2 of Wednesday<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>last year. The 2026 Grammies saw her win two awards, including Best Pop Vocal Album for Mayhem and Best Dance Pop Recording for ‘Abracadabra.’<\/p>\n Doechii had her breakthrough in 2021, when a few of her songs, including ‘Yucky Blucky Fruitcake’ went viral on TikTok<\/a>. Her second mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal<\/em> (2024), which peaked within the top ten of the Billboard 200, won Best Rap Album at the 67th Grammy Awards<\/a>, making her the third woman to win the category. Last year saw her win Billboard<\/a>‘s Woman of the Year award.<\/p>\n Gaga praised Doechii in her 2025 interview with British Vogue<\/em><\/a>, where she said: “You don\u2019t often see someone come out of the gate with a pen that feels immediately legendary. That\u2019s Doechii to me. I fell in love with her music and her raw, deeply personal perspective.”<\/p>\n “The power in her words, her vulnerability, the way she rhymes with this wild mix of audacity and emotional precision \u2013 it struck me to the core,” she added.<\/p>\n Based on Lauren Weisberger’s 2003 novel, the original The Devil Wears Prada<\/em><\/a> film follows aspiring journalist Andrea Sachs (Anne Hathaway<\/a>), who is hired at a fashion magazine and finds herself at the mercy of its demanding editor-in-chief (Streep).
