The star, who frequently posts thirst traps<\/a> of herself, addressed rumors about whether she\u2019s received cosmetic work<\/a> in January.<\/p>\n “Everybody insists that I’ve had plastic surgery<\/a> and I have not ever had plastic surgery,” she told People<\/em><\/a> at the time. “I’m the most honest person on earth \u2014 but if they won’t take my word for it, I don’t know. How can they not take my word for it? This is the only time I’ve ever missed an appearance,” she continued.<\/p>\n Martha Stewart needed a facial procedure following an incident with a dog.@marthastewart48\/Instagram<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n Despite the weather event, Stewart\u2019s security guard drove her to the hospital to aid what she considered a \u201cvery bad accident.\u201d<\/p>\n “I get to the hospital and I think they did 16 stitches in my lip,” she remembered. “I can’t call that plastic surgery, that is a repair. It’s a terrible, terrible, terrible split lip… you cannot see. I healed so well.
