Tori Spelling<\/a> is thanking her lucky stars for her kids’ and her own safety after a terrifying car crash<\/a>.<\/p>\n The 90210<\/em><\/a> and Scary Movie<\/em><\/a> star was driving with a fully-loaded car, including four of her own children with ex-husband Dean McDermott and three of their friends, on April 2 when they were hit by another vehicle. The collision landed Spelling and the seven children in a Temecula, Calif. hospital, where they were treated for injuries including cuts, bruises, contusions, and concussions. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.<\/p>\n Nearly a week after the incident, Spelling has broken her silence, taking to Instagram to share a video update.<\/p>\n “We’re okay, but it’s been really overwhelming,” she said. “We are so grateful and so lucky, because it could have been so much worse. “<\/p>\n The actress went on to share chilling details of the collision, which occurred near the 28000 block of Rancho California Road around 5:44 p.m.<\/p>\n “The driver that hit us was speeding, was going crazy, crazy fast. We believe he went through a light,” Spelling claimed. “I’m just really grateful that in a split second \u2014 guardian angels were definitely with us that day \u2014 because in a split second I looked to my right and I saw he was coming full on, full impact into the side of our car.”<\/p>\n Spelling recounted she “turned hard left as hard as I could, as fast as I could. to avoid as much impact on the children as possible. He spun us out.”<\/p>\n Spelling then offered up a number of thanks, first and foremost to “all the first responders on the scene.” She then shouted out Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley hospital in Wildomar, Calif., “that took such great care of all of the kids and myself.
