M.I.A.<\/a> has announced a surprise new \u201cgospel\u201d album called \u2018M.I.7\u2019. Check out the lead single \u2018Everything\u2019 below, along with her newly announced clothing range that blocks 10G.<\/p>\n The new album is set for release on April 17 via her own OhmniMusic label, and will mark the follow-up to 2022\u2019s \u2018Mata<\/a>\u2019. Visit here<\/a> to pre-order.<\/p>\n According to a new press release, the record comes in light of the artist\u2019s pivot to Christianity, and is set to be \u201cgospel record rooted in prayer, the Book of Revelation, and the Ark of the Covenant\u201d.<\/p>\n It will feature the Sunday Service gospel choir \u2013 which was formed by Kanye West<\/a> in 2019 \u2013 and will feature seven \u201csongs\u201d, broken down into 16-tracks.<\/p>\n Today (Wednesday April 8), M.I.A. has shared the first taste of the record with lead single \u2018Everything\u2019. The song, centred around a high-energy club theme, captures the evangelical motif with lyrics like: \u201cNo, I won\u2019t live in sorrow\/ Money I won\u2019t borrow\/ I will be blessed in all of my tomorrow<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n
