Aubrey Plaza<\/strong><\/a> is pregnant and expecting her first baby with partner Chris Abbott<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Plaza\u2019s rep confirmed the news to People<\/em><\/a> on Tuesday, April 7.<\/p>\n

A source told the outlet that the baby is due \u201cthis fall,\u201d and that Plaza, 41, and Abbott, 40, \u201cfeel very blessed.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201c[It] was a beautiful surprise after an emotional year,\u201d the insider added.<\/p>\n

Plaza\u2019s late husband, Jeff Baena<\/strong>, died in 2025, one year after the pair\u2019s quiet separation<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Plaza and Abbott, who is best known for his role as Charlie Dattolo on HBO\u2019s Girls<\/em>, worked together in 2020 on the film Black Bear<\/em>. Three years later, the duo reunited to star in the off-Broadway production of Danny and the Deep Blue Sea<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Abbott spoke publicly about Plaza during a November 2023 interview with Vogue<\/em><\/a> that discussed the working relationship they built while performing in Danny and the Deep Blue Sea<\/em>.<\/p>\n

While addressing the emphasis he placed on ensuring he was entertaining not only the audience but Plaza, too, Abbott told the outlet, \u201cWe\u2019re the ones doing it every night, eight times a week. So I think there\u2019s a level of\u2014without going too outside the bounds \u2014 keeping it fresh for us and just checking in that we\u2019re having fun on stage, and sort of staying engaged.\u201d<\/p>\n
