Reza Farahan<\/a> has revealed he once had an on-and-off romantic relationship with Bob Harper<\/a>, noting how it turned into a \u201cthreesome\u201d when the Biggest Loser<\/em><\/a> host got married.<\/p>\n The Shahs of Sunset<\/em><\/a> star opened up about his history with Harper in his new book, Memoirs of a Gay Shah: My Story of Family, Fame, and Becoming a King<\/em>, noting how he and the personal trainer became close while working at the same studio. Farahan explained that he later started taking Harper\u2019s classes and the pair became \u201cinseparable.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt was very much a friends-\u00adwith-\u00adbenefits situation,\u201d the reality star said, per People<\/a>. \u201cI wanted more, but I always got the feeling he wasn\u2019t interested in any kind of serious relationship with anybody, so I didn\u2019t really push the matter.\u201d<\/p>\n Farahan revealed that Harper later married a man named Scott, so he became \u201cbest friends\u201d with both of them. He described the relationship as a \u201cthreesome\u201d before noting \u201cthe end of this story is a bit bittersweet.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cPoor Scott, who I honestly harbored no ill will toward even though I was chasing his husband, ended up passing away,\u201d Farahan wrote. \u201cAnd even though Bob and I didn\u2019t last forever, we remain friends to this day. I actually sold Bob\u2019s house for him a few months ago.\u201d<\/p>\n While Farahan and Harper remain close friends, the Bravo star said his experience in that relationship is what made him realize \u201cthis is not okay\u201d and that settling for \u201csecond place\u201d isn\u2019t good enough.<\/p>\n \u201cI really wanted to have a stable, long-\u00adterm relationship with someone who was loving and loyal to me and only me,\u201d Farahan stated. \u201cSomeone who was choosing to be with me above all others, and not out of desperation, either. Someone who had options, but was still choosing me.\u201d<\/p>\n Harper confessed to his romantic relationship with Farahan back in 2015 when he appeared on Watch What Happens Live<\/em><\/a>. \u201cWe had a thing\u2014a very, very long time ago!\u201d Harper told Andy Cohen, per People. \u201cIt was a tawdry little thing! I love Reza though. I love him!\u201d<\/p>\n
