Celebrity parents, they\u2019re just like us. Even though they have stylists to dress them in the hottest haute couture and full glam squads to make them over before every red carpet event, they also struggle with postpartum body insecurity issues. And now two superstars are speaking out about their post-baby struggles.<\/p>\n
Earlier this week, actress and TV host Drew Barrymore<\/a><\/strong>got real on the set of her self-titled The Drew Barrymore Show<\/a><\/em>. The former child star, who grew up in the spotlight, has two children with ex-husband Will Kopelman<\/strong>: Olive<\/strong> (born September 2012) and Frankie<\/strong> (born April 2014).<\/p>\n During a makeover segment, Barrymore discussed body image with a guest who recently lost 75 pounds. In a tearful admission, the famous mom said, \u201cI so related. I really did. The other day I was walking down the street, and I\u2019ve had two C-sections, and I\u2019m so wrecked down there that I permanently just I can\u2019t wear a lot of different types of pants. But the other day I was walking around, and I had this shorter shirt on, and I couldn\u2019t keep my jacket closed, and I\u2019m like walking around, and I was like, I don\u2019t want anyone to see this.\u201d<\/p>\n Barrymore continued, \u201cAnd I just like, I so get when you have kids, and you have a busy life, and your body changes, and you get older, and things just aren\u2019t the same. And just hearing your story, I just thought of how I felt two days ago walking down the street on a Sunday<\/a> with my daughter.\u201d<\/p>\n When speaking with her guest\u2019s teenage daughter, Barrymore took a more optimistic view of her postpartum body, \u201cYou know what my daughter does? She encourages me to dress differently. And a lot of the time I feel really good.\u201d<\/p>\n Drew isn\u2019t the only Hollywood A-lister to have post-pregnancy problems. Earlier this week, actress Vanessa Hudgens<\/strong> shared a very real Instagram<\/a> post, \u201cThat moment in post partum where your pants finally fit again.\u201d<\/p>\n Fans and friends chimed in, commiserating with their own experiences. Actress Samantha Hanratty <\/strong>wrote, \u201cI think I cried when it finally happened. Some will never fit again tho,\u201d and fellow former Disney star Aly Michalka<\/strong> added, \u201cOh man! Such a moment!\u201d<\/p>\n Baby weight gain isn\u2019t the only new mommy issue Hudgens has dealt with.
