It’s finally happened, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor<\/a> has moved into his ‘forever home’ – but by the sour look on his face you would think he was being frog-marched into exile. Since he was turfed out of his 30-room Royal Lodge<\/a> mansion, on the Crown Estate at Windsor<\/a>, in February, the five-bedroomed Marsh Farm on the King’s<\/a> Sandringham Estate<\/a> has been lined up as his new home.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Over the last couple of months the 66-year-old has stayed at the nearby Wood Farm cottage while the somewhat dreary Marsh Farm had a makeover and was renovated with new fixtures and fittings. One notable addition has been a large wooden security fence to stop passers-by using the paths and road near the property from gawping at the former Duke of York, as he mopes about his new pad.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Earlier this week Andrew moved into Marsh Farm, taking the 20-minute stroll between Wood Farm and his new cottage with only his dogs for company as he followed staff carrying bags.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n But not only did Andrew have his head bowed – he looked like Maximilien Robespierre making his final walk to the guillotine.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n It’s hard to see what he has to feel sorry about.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n In February, on his 66th birthday, Andrew was arrested at Wood Farm on suspicion of misconduct in a public office for allegedly passing confidential UK information to Epstein when working as a trade envoy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Andrew – whom MPs in Westminster branded a “rude, arrogant and entitled man” – strenuously denies any wrongdoing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The Epstein Files have brought a series of shocking allegations against Andrew, such as inviting the convicted US paedophile Jeffrey Epstein to Buckingham Palace in September 2010, promising him “lots of privacy.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Disturbing images contained in the bundle of three million documents show Andrew crouched over a mystery woman lying on her back.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Meanwhile emails from Epstein to the royal show him setting Andrew up for dinner with a 26-year-old “beautiful and trustworthy” Russian.
