The 43-year-old, who is known for his luscious dark mane, has gone bald for his new role in <\/span>Fjord<\/span>. The film, directed by Romanian filmmaker <\/span>Cristian Mungiu,<\/strong> will debut at the 79th annual Cannes Film Festival held from May 12 to 23.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the <\/span>movie poster<\/span><\/a>, Stan smiles widely, showing off his hairless head and full beard while standing next to costar <\/span>Renate Reinsve. <\/strong>The two, who play a married couple, are shown surrounded by their five onscreen children.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The film centers around a Romanian-Norwegian couple who move their family to the wife’s remote hometown in Norway and face scrutiny over how they treat their kids. Stan, who is of Romanian descent, plays husband Mihai while Reinsve stars as his wife Lisbet.<\/span><\/p>\n
