The Usos\u2019 new theme song has been shelved, at least for now. According to Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select, WWE has tabled the Usos\u2019 new theme after it failed to connect with the crowd at Madison Square Garden.<\/p>\n
The theme had been in development for months before making its debut, representing a significant investment of time from WWE\u2019s production side. Despite that effort, the crowd response at MSG made it clear the song was not landing the way WWE had hoped.<\/p>\n
With WrestleMania 42 just days away, the timing made the decision more urgent. WWE is said to want a more interactive theme for the Usos heading into the show. Reverting to a more familiar theme would give the team a better foundation heading into the biggest event of the year, given the scale of a WrestleMania crowd compared to a standard Raw or SmackDown audience.<\/p>\n
The theme change is the latest creative adjustment WWE has made in the build to WrestleMania 42. Earlier this week, Fightful reported that WWE also reworked some of its SmackDown plans<\/a> following the reaction to the Pat McAfee, Cody Rhodes, and Randy Orton angle, with CM Punk\u2019s Raw promo adding further fluidity to the week\u2019s creative direction.<\/p>\n The Usos are currently set to team with LA Knight to face Logan Paul, Austin Theory, and IShowSpeed in a six-man tag team match on night one of WrestleMania 42 on April 18 in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n
