Halle Bailey is sharing how motherhood has inspired her creatively<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
The You, Me and Tuscany<\/em> star made an appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark, <\/em>where she opened up about how her son Halo, 2, has changed her personally and creatively<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Bailey welcomed her son with ex-boyfriend DDG<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Halle Bailey<\/a> is sharing how motherhood has inspired her creatively.<\/p>\n During her appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark<\/em><\/a> earlier this week, <\/em>the You, Me and Tuscany <\/em>star, 26, opened up about how welcoming her son Halo<\/a>, 2, changed her both personally, professionally and creatively. Bailey welcomed her son in December 2022 with ex-boyfriend DDG.<\/p>\n “It changes you so much because I feel like I feel things so much deeper now, and it’s a great recipe for creating and writing because you have so much more to talk about and a deeper sense of emotions, I think, to grasp on to,” she said. “I’ve never felt any love like this. It’s crazy.”<\/p>\n During her appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show<\/em><\/a> back in October 2025, the doting mom shared what her favorite thing about being a mother to her son is.<\/p>\n “I think my favorite thing is I feel like I’m learning so much from my child,” she told host Jennifer Hudson<\/a>. “I think that I’m learning so much and also he’s bringing out the inner child in me every single day.”<\/p>\n “I feel like I’m feeding the little girl in me, like painting or doing a fun activity,” she added. “It’s like, oh, I’m having fun. I’m a child again, too.”<\/p>\n While speaking with PEOPLE, Bailey opened up about her motherhood journey<\/a>, describing the loving community that supports her as she raises her son.<\/p>\n “I think after I had my baby, I was like, ‘I\u2019m grown-grown now,’ \u201d she said, with a wink to her past role on TV’s Grown-ish<\/em><\/a>. \u201cHe\u2019s made me more sure of myself and confident in my voice. \u2018Stronger\u2019 is my word for this year.\u201d<\/p>\n Halle Bailey and her son Halo. It\u2019s a village job.\u201d<\/p>\n She continued, “Especially when you’re trying to work on so many different things. You’re trying to do your career as well as balance [motherhood], but I feel like women, we can do it all. Like we really can. We need to give ourselves more credit as women sometimes, too, and know that we are amazing.”<\/p>\n
